God's Love

"My child, love with the core of your heart, for in the core is My goodness and My love. Let its light shine so bright, that your heart will glow with My love...Never tire to love. Many are unloved because people are not aware of what sincere love is...Love forgives and accepts...Love has no conditions...It is limitless... That is My love. It is for all, not just for a chosen few. My love is for everyone" - GOD

Gifted Hands

My dear friend put a copy of Dr Carson's Story - Gifted Hands on my file a few months ago. She reminded me to watch that movie as soon as I find the time. I just said yes and totally forgotten about it. Just last friday when everything was accelerating in the office that I decided to have a movie marathon weekend. I visited our movie portal and search for movies to download. I accidentally hit this unfamiliar folder and then I saw the movie. I eventually decided to watch it the following day without checking on it's reviews.

The story is about a African American Doctor - Benjamin Carson who was raised by a single mom with his brother. He believes that he is damn. His mom always challenged them to study, she was so strict with their study habits and comanded they be exposed to books. He was hesitant at first but eventually ended to be the most promising Neuro Surgeon in the world. Pass his John Hopkins internship and there he started to make miracles.

Then I remember. I always wanted to complain about things being cruel. My past that has never been so friendly and convinient for me. Up to now I am being challenged by situations. What is really my purpose...This may be because what I am doing is a blessings to others. Maybe God want's to challenge me to unleash my gifts.

All of us has gifts. It is just the matter of discoverin it and using it. Friends let's start to appreciate our gifts and let's ontinuously find ways to make this gifts a blessings to others....

Lord may your will be done...Be my sheperd to all my endeavors in life...

Joyful journey

The last two weeks is so dreadfully busy. Since my husband is back in KSA I decided to divert my used to be time for him to something like blogging, additional work and I even ended landing in enrolling to one of the courses in Ateneo. Hoping that those endeavor would help me somehow not to notice his absence. Later did I realized that I a feeling so exhausted and I needed to stop.

I needed a break and I needed it soon before I burned out. I decided to have this weekend as my day, purely a day where I could get hold of myself again and put things back into track. I started my Saturday early but lazily cuddling to my pillows as I have no intention to do work or anything. After lunch I just put the cd player on and listen to my new Ka-ISA CD. A very uplifting CD from Bread of Life. Then flashback of good memories came rushing to me and I realized that I am actually singing, praise and worshiping. It lasted till 7:00pm when I noticed that its already dark and I have to make my dinner.

Sometimes we need to step back and slow down to be intimate with God to refocus ourselves. God's presence is magnified in some ways. Let's have a joyful journey with the Lord.

Architect of Life

Architects are used to planning things, every details of the house they designed and build, they conceptualize in mind, put it in blueprint and then execute the plan. But during construction, there is always a change in portions of the plan and adjustments are done.

As I look in my life now, its the same effect. Changes happen, most I can do anything about to see, how I was able to adopt, its hard and its challenging. But one reason why I embraced them is because I love God and this is where he leads me.

No matter what follow the Lord John 25:15-19

Power to Overcome

Apply your heart to discipline and your ears to words of knowledge - Proverbs 23:12

Can't and won't. Christians need to be very careful which one they choose. It seems that we prefer to use can't.

Any Christians would agree that the word to use should really be won't. Why? Because we are given the power and the ability to overcome...

We're really saying "I won't" because we don't choose to say "With the help of God, I will!"

Real Riches

In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge - Colossians 2:3

Above the line clothings, high tech cellphones, latest mp3 player, brand new car, lunch in a fine dinning resto and gold platted wtches.

Your salary is good and your material possessions are growing in number, but...the truth is you are empty on the inside and you're faking it on the outside. Not one thing you own in your "kingdom" has brouht you the happiness you long for.

Dont allow smoke screens of happiness blind your eyes to the truth. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you... Matthew 6:33

The ABCs of Love

I accept who you are.
I dont care about your past.
I love you for what you are and for simply being you...
It is good to feel in love, hard to be in love and so painful being inlove. But no matter how hard and painful it is, love will still be the most sought after feeling. If you are hurt be thankful because you are loving. If you start not to feel the hurt be afraid because you might not be loving anymore.
Jesus love us so much to the point that he endure all the pain and suffering on the cross for us. If God didn't stop loving us, please dont stop loving even if it hurts for something great is waiting for you.
John 15:9-17. Bright future!

Freewill

The memory card and kiddie book is gone. Teacher Amy got so worried. One of her students took them without permission to watch and read. She asked the kid if that was what she is teaching them....

God really respects our free will. He will teach us but its up to us how we live our life.
Choose wisely....Acts 18:1-8

Love of God

What is the purpose of the things you do right now for your family?
Your work?
Your community?
Your relatives?
Your country?
Charity?
Is it because of love for them?
Obligation?
Self-fulfillment?
Happiness?
What is the greatest reason you can have in doing the simplest thing you do?
Is it doing your work? your chores? your responsibilities? your simplest action because of your love for God?

Yes, that's the secret for true happiness...you live, think, act, love...for the love of God.
Greater things your can surely do...John 14:6-14

Jesus Pain in the Cross

Pok! Ouch! Pok! Ouch!

In tears Jesus asked God: 'Why do I need to suffer from pain, why do they nail me on the cross?'
God said: ' My son the pain you endure kips strong the structure being build. Look, my homes are in tact because of you. And your pain help shelter many of my children. Your suffering can build your faith. It will turn out into a blessing to you and others. You may be down now but your future will have another story to tell.

Please join me in reading 1Peter1:6-7

St. Paul's journey

I am really amazed! You know why? i read that while preaching St. Paul was stonned and draged out of the town. They thought he was dead. But he got us and go to the other town and started to preach, won many disciples and strengthen many believers.

Wow! amazing. After our struggles we should shake-off our negatives emotions. We should stand straight and be greater instruments of God, a symbol of true God, courage, strength and most of all true love for God.

Please read Acts 14: 19-28 and let's all have a meanigful journey!

The Greatest Commandment

I love you Lord but how?

...with all your heart especially when you feel that I am distant
...with all your soul especially when its crashed by trials and problems
...with all yur mind especially when you think of abandoning Me
...with all your strength especially when you feel tired to love Me
...by loving all people especially when they hurt, disappoint or leave you
...by loving yourself especially when you don't like your life

The Lord answered:
...My child by loving all the way I do love them...

Dear Lord change my life to be like yours, may I leave in your likeness Mk12: 28-34

True Fasting

One morning Coy the richest cockroach in town say to God. "Today I will fast for the villagers". Then he told his helper to gather all the food and bring them home. When the other insect came they found no food. They asked Coy for some, but Coy said "I worked hard for it. Go somewhere else for sure God will provide you food for I fasted for it. All the insects can't find any food. Coy called to God and said"I fasted for them why you didn't provide them with food?" God replied, "I provide them with the food they need but you took it away from them." Are we all like Coy?

Freewill

In the movie lion king, Simba the lion cub was told lies by his uncle and was chased away from hic clan. He grew up with friends who taught him how to survive in life. But one day he had to make a choice to go back to his cln or go on with his life. He decided to go back and lead them to prosperity.

Living your life is full of choices. Everyday you have to make a decision. Your freewill is a gift, use it wisely. Choose the choice God would be delighted and work on it.

"for I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in his ways and to keep his commans, decrees and laws; the you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. But if your heart turns away and you are not obidient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess." Deuteronomy 30:15-20
Have a blessed life

Project Nehemiah

I was inspired by the story of Bread of Life - Rizal, their sruggle and determination to stand after typhoon Ondoy devastated their community. When the door closes God will open the windows. Robinsons Mall offered them to house their activities on the former Philam Life Office thus gives them a better and more accesible place to worship.

This reminds me to give time to the project we started 2009 - helping students by providing basic school supplies. The focal point will be improving the life of every family by starting to support kids fulfill their dreams.
I came from a family of teachers so I decided to start from there. I know that this project is not easy, same as the situation of the apostles back when they are spreading the word of God but I must stood to this endeavor. I know from within that this is my share in promoting God's goodness to mankind. I decided to call it Banghal Aralin; Project Nehemiah. Banghay Aralin is the tagalog of Lesson Plan. Like teachers we plan how they will attain their dreams and education is the very first step we need to plan carefully.
Anyone who is interested to part of this project, please post your comment and i'll get in touch we you. We are in need of school books, school supplies, bags, uniforms, anything that a normal student would need....Hope someone got the chance to read this post and help us...thanks!

Trust and Rely on Him

There are times when we feel so helpless, times when we are hurt, times when we don't know what to do and times when no one understands us. During this trying times we run to God for solace and peace of mind.
Trials are there to remind us that God is there waiting. It is in His Kingdom where we could rest from carrying the heavy load. God will stood us till the end even though we regret about Him often. It only takes a sincere repentance and acceptance. Just take a time of silence and be with God and your burden will be lighten no matter how heavy it is.
"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because, when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him" James 1:12-18

Trials and Temptations

Once there is a story about a man who carries his cross on the way to heaven. The cross was so heavy that the man decided to cut it short. After a while he was tired and weary and again cut the cross. He finally came to a rift since he cut his cross short he cannot use it to be his bridge. There is nothing he can use to cross the rift.
Sometimes we are tested by the cross we carry along our journey and it is within our faith how we are carrying it. Lord, I know I complain a lot about so many things, please let me have the patience to deal with all of this. Let my faith be stronger not to give up on any trials. May you give me wisom so I may be guided by your words.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind." James 1:11 (NIV)

My Journey of Faith

After a long search, I finally settled with a guy who has nothing to be proud of but having a close relationship with God. I thought I have the same level of faith as he is but as time passed by I know that I need more to catch up.
I was born and baptist as a Roman Catholic, entered in a Catholic school run by Nuns, attended Sunday masses and all the days of obligation but still feeling weak and vulnarable to temptations. Without saying a word my better half introduce to his faith. At first, I have to be honest that I am just pretending, but you cannot pretend when the Holy Spirit do his share to enlighten you. I started analyzing myself, weighing what matters to me most, soul searching and then I found my happiness.
I am enjoying what I have right now, but I know I need some catching up to do. I need to understand better in order for me to accept and be an inspiration to others. This is the hardest step and I cannot do it overnight. It takes a process. It takes acceptance. It takes a fully renowned me.
Come and join me to continue my journey. Let this be an inspiration. Let us not compromise the ultimate sacrifice Jesus has given in the cross for our salvation. Let this lead me to making God the center of everything.
